There's no notepad inside Guild Wars 2, so players scribble build orders, farming routes and shopping lists into alt-tabbed apps — where a pasted chat link is nothing but a meaningless string of characters. Magpie Memo keeps those notes in the game, and every chat link you drop in becomes a live chip showing the real icon, name and tooltip right where you wrote it.

Optional but recommended:

Decoder Ring (in the library) for chatlink decoding into chips.

Pie UI (not yet released, see discord community addon channel) for opening the in-game map when clicking a waypoint code/chip.
