Better Nameplates replaces Guild Wars 2’s own enemy name and health labels with compact, readable nameplates. It’s a Raidcore Nexus addon and works only in PvE.
- Minimal until it matters: an undamaged enemy shows only its name. The health bar appears once it’s damaged, while you hover it, or while it’s your target.
- Rank at a glance: bars are coloured by rank (normal, veteran, elite, champion, legendary).
- Clear target: your target’s plate is slightly larger, highlighted, and the only one showing a health percentage and a break bar.
- Readable damage: health that was just lost drains away in white.
- Clean screen: plates hide behind walls, terrain and open game windows, and the target’s plate stays on screen.
- Customisable: text position, sizes and colours, with a live preview in the settings window.
It only reads game memory. It doesn’t send input or automate anything, and it’s switched off in sPvP and WvW.
