What's going on

Earlier today, ArenaNet reopened their Partner Program out of nowhere and with a brand-new system. I was expecting them to reopen it, but later —in May or June, just like last year. So in a rush, I deployed this new, nowhere-near-ready website so that I could forward my application to the Program. As this changes the current roadmap slightly, and seeing as this release was fundamentally unexpected, there are no real features we can discuss yet. Instead, let's talk about what is here, what is broken and what is yet to come.

What's already live

The front page works! That's something already.
And so does the blog feature, although blog posts are missing information like author, category and other metadata. I'm also writing this post in a very crude editor, as I had no time to implement a proper one. Nonetheless, the blog is mostly functional, but writing HTML on a phone is definitely an experience.

The addon page is also functional and now hopefully the pagination/filtering as well —thanks to some early feedback from Finalgamer!
Account creation will be opened in the following days, so that addon creators can edit their own pages and add some content to better showcase their work. All the pages are pretty barren at the moment, but at least all the addons are listed!

What's coming next

Besides fixing what is already here now, I am working on making the website mobile-friendly and most importantly accessible. I am not a webdev, as you may or may not be able to tell, but I'm trying my best and I think we have a great community that delivers great feedback and suggestions for the horrible HTML I produce.

Once I've established the basics, I'll go back to producing what I actually made this site for: guides, opinions and reviews. I want raidcore.gg to become a central point for Guild Wars (2) when it comes to guides and general content. And I also want to write blog posts commenting on newly released features such as the latest "Raids & Wardrobe" update.
